Meet Our Team

Theodosia Southern

Principal & Lead Consultant

Theodosia T. Southern is the founder, managing principal and lead consultant of the Center for Executive Leadership. She helps organizations unlock their inherent wisdom and talent pool to develop resilient, far-sighted and effective leaders and leadership teams who can handle complex challenges with courage, efficacy and grace.

 

She has supported leaders in healthcare, hospitality, service, media and high tech industries to create a thriving future for their organizations and their people, a future that works for everyone, for over 22 years on both sides of the Atlantic (US, UK, Europe). She is particularly interested in “acting locally, impacting globally.”

 

In her work with clients as a consultant, trainer, executive coach and change facilitator, Theodosia uses innovative, practical and integrative approaches that are informed by the latest research in human performance, neuro-linguistic programming, cognitive science, chaos theory, living systems theory, systems thinking, and organizational learning.

 

Theodosia is dedicated to helping leaders and their teams achieve leadership excellence and mastery in communication, multidisciplinary team alignment, developing partnerships and cooperative networks, strategic thinking, creating and translating strategy into action, sustainable implementation, stepping into new leadership roles seamlessly and succession planning.

 

She holds degrees in Applied Mathematics & Statistics (Aristotle University, Greece), Hospitality Management (International Hotel & Tourism Institutes (IHTTI), Neuchatel, Switzerland) and a Master’s degree (MA) in Marketing and International Business Management (University of West London, London, England). She is a certified HBDI facilitator (brain research-based leadership diagnostic) through Hermann International, a certified HeartMath® Coach/Mentor, and a member of the World Business Academy. 

Tricia Webster 

Senior Consultant

Tricia Webster is a Senior Consultant with Center for Executive Leadership. She has been assisting organizations and individuals in creating sustainable change for over 20 years. She specializes in creating collaborative work teams and helping them move from vision to action.

 

As workshop leader, speaker, consultant and coach, Ms. Webster has worked with professionals in both for profit and non-profit sectors, including information technology, healthcare, hospitality and tourism, government and education. She combines a background in human resource management with extensive experience in strategic planning and business management.

 

Ms. Webster is member of the American Society for Training and Development and is a speaker at international conferences. She is certified for leadership programs with Franklin-Covey, Zenger-Miller, Learning International and others. She has served on the board of directors for the International Institute for Social Artistry and is committed, through her work in international leadership training, to making a world that works for everyone.

 

She is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, and lives in Grass Valley, CA.

Kay

Logterman 

Consultant

Kay Logterman is a Senior Consultant with the Center for Executive Leadership. With over 20 years of experience as a senior human resources management professional, leadership consultant, facilitator and coach, she brings rich perspectives, simplified processes, and streamlined programs to organizations, teams and individuals.

 

Kay supports client organizations in a wide range of industries, including information technology, healthcare, education, entertainment, employment and career consulting. Kay works directly with business units, cross-functional teams, emerging leaders and executives, offering tailored solutions that support the expansion of leadership capabilities, capacity and influence. Other specialties include stakeholder alliances, change catalyst/agent, and mentorship for first-time supervisors and managers.

 

Certified as a Professional/Life Coach, Kay received her certification through Fowler-Wainright International, International Institute of Professional Coaching. She is a member of the American Society of Training and Development, South Bay Organizational Development Network, International Association of Coaching, and Society for Human Resources Management.

 

Kay supports several Northern California non-profit organizations in customizing program design, training, group facilitation, and professional coaching.  A graduate of the University of South Dakota with a degree in education, Kay currently resides in San Jose, CA.

Daphne Biener 

Director of Business Development

Daphne Biener joined CEL in 2009 with more than a decade of professional experience in healthcare and business development. She has worked with physician practices and hospital executives in New York City, where she served as the Executive Director of a Physician/Hospital Organization and as the Director of Managed Care.

 

After moving to Boulder in 2001, Daphne worked as a healthcare consultant focused on growth strategy and contract negotiation before serving as the VP of Business Development for a language training company.

 

Daphne graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, and holds a masters degree in Healthcare Policy and Management from New York University. She currently lives in Boulder, CO with her husband and their two daughters.
