Theodosia T. Southern, Principal

Theodosia T. Southern is a consultant, executive coach and change facilitator who helps leaders and their teams achieve leadership excellence and mastery in communication, team alignment, strategic thinking and sustainable implementation. She has been helping organizations implement change processes for over 20 years, throughout the US, UK and Europe.

Ms. Southern is the founder and managing principal of the Center for Executive Leadership. She uses innovative, practical and highly integrative approaches in her work with clients that are informed by the latest research in human performance , neuro-linguistic programming, cognitive science, chaos theory, living systems theory, systems thinking, organizational learning.

Ms. Southern was a director of business development for Hilton International from 1989-1994 and holds degrees in Applied Mathematics & Statistics, Hospitality Management and a Master’s degree in Marketing and Business Development. She is a member of the World Business Academy and lives in Boulder, Colorado with her husband and their two daughters.

Dubravka Deppen, Senior Consultant

Dubravka is a visionary leader and change agent with a proven ability to cultivate potential in people and organizations. She has more that 20 years of experience leading in diverse industries and organizational cultures, ranging from Fortune 200 companies and start-ups, to nonprofit and community based organizations. Dubravka is a business consultant, a coach, and a facilitator.

She is passionate about expanding what is possible. She believes that the appropriate human development, supportive organizational culture, and powerful strategic direction can generate remarkable results. Dubravka has the ability to see what needs to be addressed, to provide a road map for the resolution, and to see and speak the truth with conviction and grace.

She has served as President of the University of Chicago Women’s Business Group and Woman to Woman Midwest, Inc. She has received a number of awards from business and civic organizations for her visionary leadership and service. Dubravka earned her MBA and executive education from the University of Chicago and her MA from the University of Illinois.

Tricia Webster, Senior Consultant

Tricia Webster is a Senior Consultant with Center for Executive Leadership. She has been assisting organizations and individuals in creating sustainable change for over 20 years. She specializes in creating collaborative work teams and helping them move from vision to action.

As workshop leader, speaker, consultant and coach, Ms. Webster has worked with professionals in both for profit and non-profit sectors, including information technology, healthcare, hospitality and tourism, government and education. She combines a background in human resource management with extensive experience in strategic planning and business management.

Ms. Webster is member of the American Society for Training and Development and is a speaker at international conferences. She is certified for leadership programs with Franklin-Covey, Zenger-Miller, Learning International and others. She has served on the board of directors for the International Institute for Social Artistry and is committed, through her work in international leadership training, to making a world that works for everyone.

Ms. Webster is a graduate of the University of California, Santa Barbara, and lives in Grass Valley, CA.

Daphne Biener, Director of Business Development

Daphne Biener joined CEL in 2009 with over ten years of professional experience in healthcare and business development. She worked with physician practices and hospital executives in New York City, where she served as the Executive Director of a Physician/Hospital Organization and as the Director of Managed Care.

After moving to Boulder in 2001, Daphne worked as a healthcare consultant focused on growth strategy and contract negotiation before serving as the VP of Business Development for a language training company.

Daphne graduated from Tulane University in New Orleans, and holds a masters degree in Healthcare Policy and Management from New York University. She lives in Colorado with her husband and their two daughters.
